This morning, Pam, manger of the Keizer Branch (the first one I interviewed for) called to tell me that an offer for their teller position was under way. They just need to do background checks and then on Monday she'll give me a call and the offer. I'm way excited! Yup, I did my little got-a-job dance and we're going out to Mongolian Gril to celebrate! I must admit, it was somewhat unexpected because I thought I did a terrible job in the interview. The only let down is that it's a part-time position. For money and benefits purposes, I would rather have a full-time position. The crazy thing is, the second Branch that I interviewed for is for a full-time position, but I won't hear from them until tomorrow. So I've already decided that both branches are equally good except for the part/full-time difference, so if I get an offer from the second branch, I'll take that one. But if not, I still can except the first one.
So I have a job!!!!! Man, I an so blessed!!! Thank you so much for your prayers! I have felt them strengthen and left me up. Thank you so much for your love, support, faith on my behalf! I couldn't have done it without you! I'll update more as it develops.

It felt like this one went better
I just got back from my interview at the West Salem branch of Maps Credit Union. I was praying so hard that I would be my self and say the right things. I know that I needed the Spirit with me, so I listened to hymns, sang them as I drove and even read my scriptures before I left. And it went wonderfully. There were things I said that I turly believed in, but never would have said it the way it came out. I was cheerful, happy, bubbly, and myself. I tried to listen harder than I did last time, truly giving answers from the heart and I think I did, but only with the help of the Lord. If I get the job, which the manager (Jeremy) almost hinted to the fact that I did, it will all be because of the Lord's help. Now that I know what I need to do for success, I'll do it every time!
I hope I'm not looking into Jeremy's words and miss judging them. Well, why don't you tell me. This is what Jeremy said: "You'll probably won't heard from us until the end of the week. I have a few more applicants to go through, so I'll call you about Friday afternoon and then we'll go futher from there." It's the last part that I'm clinging to. But I'm also preparing myself to be told no, we found someone else. I, of course, would be disappionted. It seems like a wonderful place to work with fun people to work with, but it's in the Lord's hands now. It's about a 15 minute drive and a full time position which is better than the other one. And of course, I wouldn't work on Sunday!
Anyway, I hope I get a job soon. I need to now decide on a doctor, and soon. I haven't seen one yet because of insurence (which the OHP office is still processing), but I'm in my second trimester. I'm doing research on the internet now and I asked around at church, now the next step is to decide. I'll ask the Lord's help on this one too. :) Wish me luck!

Another Interview!
I got a call this morning from Jeremy of the West Salem branch of Maps Credit union and scheduled an interview for this afternoon. Crazy huh. Well, yesterday I barely got into my nice black pants (definitly not comfortable) so this morning I decided to go a head and buy these nice brown maternity ones that were on sale at Target. I really don't know what to think about my first interview. I think it went well, but may be they thought that I wouldn't fit in there so Pam directed me to Jeremy. This is what I guess. I'm really don't care, just as long as I get a job. I think it's amazing how many different interviews I can get out of one application. Yeah! wish me luck!

An Interview!
I am so excited! Yesterday I got a call from one of the Keizer branches of Maps Credit Union, a big bank on this side of the state, for an interview on Monday. It's for a teller poistion, and the crazy thing is that I turned in my application just on wednesday. I hope that it means they really like me. I hope it goes will. Pray for me! And wish me luck!

I think this would be cool!
Please, take some time and do this game. It'll be fun!
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious -- anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you! If you don't want to play on your blog, or you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Happy Birthday to me and Happy Anniversary to my Parents!
I'm not asking for special consideration today, but I just thought that I would comment on how funny it is that once you get older, birthdays just seem like any other day of the week. Patxi did roll over this morning and wish me a "Merry Birthday," which is unlike every other day. And tonight we are going to the Movies (to see the midnight showing of the new Batman movie) which is very out of the ordinary because Patxi doesn't believe in wasting money to see a movie in the theaters. But I still have homework due, a job to find, and a house to clean. All well, I guess it's just seems ordinary because I have responsibilities now, not like when I was a kid, It's funny how life happens, isn't it.
Mom and dad, have a happy anniversary! And maybe not so wild, you're not as young as you used to be :) Have a great day!

New adventures of WIC and OHP
Yesterday was a full day. I turned in all the paper work to apply for the Oregon Health Plan, which will take a while to process. And signed up for WIC. I had some luck because they were about to start a class when I got there so I wouldn't have to wait two weeks to get my voucures. So What I had to do was get in the system, got weighed and they took an iron count and then taught me, and others, about healthy habits to have during pregnancy. It was mostly a review because I've done some research. I did find out that lunch meat should be steaming hot before a pregnant woman eats it because there is a bacteria that could harm the baby, though not the women. I thought that was interesting. I also found out that eating smaller meals more often might help with the nausea. I'm trying it today, but I've always had a hard time with the small meal thing. It's hard to stop when I'm not full or when I make too much. Plus, I found out that I'm four pounds over the healthy weight gain, which really doesn't mean that much, but it just makes me mad because I've been trying extra hard. All well, I just need to try harder. It's complicated because your not supposed to have the goal of losing weight, but your not supposed to gain anything extra then the 25-35 normal baby-placenta-uterus pregnancy weight gain. And I'm probably care because it's my first one, but it's hard to find the perfect balance.
Anyway, enough of my fat-pregnancy complaints. We had the missionaries over last night too. It was kind of funny that we had to buy another chair just so we could all sit at the table. But we found a $3 chair at Goodwill and I can care-a-less if the chairs don't match, at least we have four now. The missionaries were really nice and we got to know a little bit about the mission we're in now, the Portland, Oregon Mission. It funny because the mission only includes half of Salem. It only includes one of the two stakes in Salem. Interesting I thought.
The job thing is going alright. Actually it's going slow. With homework, the house and other priorities to get done, it seems to have been shoved on the back burner. I know that it's wrong, but I guess I'm hesitant because I don't think anyone will hire me for the short amount of time I have because I'm pregnant. I'm probably wrong. I just got to see that and get motivated. Plus, I promised that we can't get a camera, which I really want, until at least a month after I get a job, so hopefully that will be more motivation.
I think everything is going great, but this is really all I have to up date. Have a great day!

I'm turning 2 applications in today!
I have one application for a secretary post in a elementary school, and the second is to be a teller in a credit union. They seem like perfect jobs for me, I hope I can get at least one. I'm also planning on talking with our ward's employment specialist to see if he can throw me something.
Everything else is going okay. My nausea seems to be kicking it up a notch lately. I wake up to it every morning, which is a temptation not to go running. Then I feel sick when it's time to eat. But lately it's been coming at random times. Like all of Saturday, I had to lay down on my stomach to ease the sickness. But yesterday was just fine, I only had the meal thing. But then today, I woke up to it, but was determined to run. I did but was nauseous for the last part. And now I've just finished eating and still feel sick. It seems more like a every other day thing. Does that seem possible, or is it, like Patxi says, all in my head? I don't know, I doubt it's all in my head because I hate it. I feel so crummy and can't get anything done which then adds laziness to the picture. Well I just have until the end of July, which is when I'll be in my second trimester, so this nausea had better be over like everyone says!
Patxi is doing fine at school. He gets distracted easily, though. But I'm sure that if he wasn't behind because of drill, he wouldn't feel so overwhelmed which justified him "clearing his head" by playing a game of the computer. Whatever. Just as long as he is doing his best, that's all I can ask for.
We, together, went to church in our new ward for the first time yesterday. It was fast and testimony meeting and I was impressed to share mine. Of course I introduced myself a little bit and then continued to bare my testimony. Well, it turned out to be a two sided blessing because it opened the door for people to come up and introduce themselves to us. It was wonderful. I think that I can definitely find friends in this ward and I'm very excited about it.
For the 4th of July I really wanted to do something. Luckily, Patxi's cousin, Joesph who lives in Corvallis, asked us to come over for a BBQ and visit with Patxi's other cousin, Josh who also lives in Corvallis and their wives Ivy and Brianne. It was great, and we had a wonderful time. I like especially getting to know Brianne better, since she is new to the family by about 3 weeks. The only sad thing was that Corvallis' firework show was so short that we were all disappointed. Other then that, we had a blast.
I thinks that's all the news I have to share. I hope you have a great day!
